Knife Skills 101 & Knife Care Class

Tuesday April 25th 7pm - 8:30pm / Location: Ergo Chef - 4 Eagle Rd Danbury, CT. 06810

Knife Skills 101 Class is perfect for learning about proper knife use and hands on slicing and dicing etc. You'll learn many cuts and valuable skills from professional Chef Plum. Each participant will have their own cutting area and all items needed are provided by Ergo Chef.

We'll also quickly go through how to clean and maintain your knife edges with different sharpening methods.

You will learn to make your own Fresh Guacamole & Pico De Gallo Dips + variations of each in this class and get to take what you make home.

The esteemed & accomplished Chef Plum will be teaching this, our 2nd hands on class of the season, along with Ergo Chef VP Michael Staib who will be there to assist with the class preparation.

Hava Nagrilla - The 1st Kosher BBQ Competition in Philadelphia Sanctioned by the KCBS & NEBS!

Sunday August 27th 2017 - 11am - 4pm

Location: Held on the grounds of the Temple Beth Hillel-Beth El
1001 Remington Rd.
Wynnewood, PA 19096

This will be a joyous event with mouth-watering BBQ, music, dancing, games and camaraderie. The aim of the competition is to raise money and collect kosher food for the Mitzvah Food Project of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia.  This food bank serves five food pantries in the five counties of the Philadelphia area, serving needy people of all denominations and backgrounds.
